First real snow of the season came in mid December for Tahoe Donner. While it didn’t really signal the start of ski season, it did blanket the ground quite nicely. Many of the ski resorts are manufacturing their own snow to enable die hard skiers to get in some time on the slopes. With or without snow, Tahoe Donner is a lovely place to visit for vacation or a weekend getaway.
